Email Marketing - Your Effective Process

You need to build your list to do email marketing. The aim is to develop a relationship over time with those people on your list so they trust you enough to buy from you. Also, you aim to have them buy from you as many times as possible because they find your products useful and valuable.

Go through these actions.

First, buy into a good autoresponder
. You need to make sure that you can get your email delivered and without problems.

Second, put on opt in page on your site. Send your traffic to the opt in page. If you have it as your home page, people need to sign up to your email list if they want to see the rest of your site.

Third, tell them to sign up to get your valuable and useful freebie.

Fourth, when they have signed up, provide them with valuable content in your emails or elsewhere, some freebies, and the best product offers you can make to them. These will continue to develop your relationship with them and build increasing trust over time.

Fifth, because of this trust they'll be willing to buy from you rather than someone else. This is especially powerful when they only want to buy products created by you.

List Building Relationships - Try This

Are you on lots of email lists? And getting lots of emails? Me too. But most of them I don't even open. Others I look forward to. Why is that?

Although I've never met them, I feel a relationship with those I open.

It's key to create such a relationship with the people on your list.

This starts with the first time they come across you, and then takes time to develop. It's developed through your opt in page and freebie, and your first emails.

At any point they're interacting with some material of yours, they want to think you know more than they do. There is something you can pass on to them and help them with. I don't think you'd stick with somebody who you believed knew less than you about your niche.

The first material they go through of yours should be easy to get through and intelligible.

Your first email has to be friendly enough combined with a sense of expertise.

Then your second email develops that further. Plus reinforce the sense of niche expertise, demonstrating you have strong information to give them, and that you're able to provide them with free information and other gifts.

Want Reasons To Build Your List?

Maybe you have a website set up and you're getting some revenue from it. So you might wonder: why bother build a list when I've  already got some income?

It is a good question, even today, because of the extra time and effort it takes. If this is your situation you could send 50% of your traffic to a squeeze page, and the other 50% to a sales page. This means you can still see some direct profit while testing out the difference with having a list.

You can see your statistics for your income from your sales page compared to that from your opt in page. When you see the opt in method is generating greater revenue, you can go over to sending all your traffic to an opt in page.

Let's imagine you're getting one in every hundred unique people to your sales page to convert to customers.

For your opt in page there's  33 people out of every hundred convert to join your list.

Therefore, to have the same sales result as your sales page you need to get 3 out of each of the 33 to buy from you.

Immediately upon subscribing you send them directly to the sales page.

Then, over time, you send the non-buyers over and over to your sales page so that you get a bigger number converting to customers than you had originally with just the  sales page. Also, when they buy one product you can offer them more products which gives you more revenue you do not get with only the sales page and no subscribers.

Build Your Own Online Business - One Method

Online business can be hard or not, especially starting one. The basis is finding out what you need to know online so you don't end up doing all the wrong things. Why try to create something out of nothing when there are businesses doing the things that work that you can learn from?

The method I'm suggesting here involves creating your own niche products. This makes for generating revenue more consistently over time. However, if you're just starting your business you can use affiliate products to start up your revenue. But moving to your own products as soon as you can.

Here's the basic method.

First, choose a niche.
That is, focus your efforts. If you try to sell to wide a variety of products, at least early on, you'll become weighed down. If you do want to have a business selling a whole variety of stuff you need to get good information or training on it, and get going. If not, you need to focus.

Second, create and develop a website with strong relevant content on it about your niche.
Third, put an opt in page on the site with an attractive freebie to start building your list. Get traffic to that opt in page.

Fourth, create niche relevant content and publish it on various websites across the web, ensuring it's unique to each site. Put a link in that content going back to your site.

Fifth, develop an engaging email sequence with lots of valuable content in it.

Sixth, sign up to be an affiliate for some products in order to get your revenue started.

Seventh, start creating your own products. As you create each one, replace an affiliate product with your own.

Now, go on repeating this method.

Start To Get Sign Ups To Your List

It's no great mystery as to why the advice is always to start growing your list straight away. Why is this? It creates a situation where you can communicate with people who sign up over and over again with your product offers. Without a list, you might get people to visit your site but then they leave and you never see them again.

In addition, you can form a long term relationship with people on your list so you learn about what they need in your niche and what they want. You then create the product and offer it to them. It's much moe likely they'll buy from you becasue you're providing them with just what they wanted.

How to begin.

You will have to learn as you go
. Your first emails might not be very good but will get better as you gain more experience.

First, create a site that you control.

Second, get an autoresponder service that you pay for monthly.
Don't try to run one yourself.

Third, create a sign up page with the benefits of your freebie, and a form you get from your autoresponder.

Fourth, generate traffic to the page.

Fifth, create and email sequence. Use the tracking from your autoresponder to see which emails are working best or not. Each week change the email that works the worst. This will build an effective sequence over time.

What's The Point Of Having A List?

Ok, you've created your site, search engine optimized it, and you're sending traffic to it. What happens? Will they keep a record of your site and come back later? Do you want your income to depend on the possibility they might return? I thought not.

That's why you build your list: so that visitors don't just disappear, and you can influence they're buying choices from you. Your list is, in effect, your market in your niche. Also, your subscribers, by clicking through your link an giving their email to join your list, have demonstrated they want more from you. As time goes on, your list provides a means of tracking and testing your market so you can learn more about them and increase the targeting of your emails and products.

Getting subscribers is not a difficult process. There are plenty of services will provide you with opt in page templates, and autoresponders.

You make the effort to get people to your website, so the best thing for the future of your business is to grow your subscriber list. Every time you get a new subscriber you're probably increasing the return ratio on the time, and maybe money spent, on getting them.
