Your Miindset For Your Online Success

You have to be determinedly persistent. So that no matter when you get stuck, or what is making you stuck, you won't let it stop you  or hold you back. Many people would not have made the money they have if they not had this mindset.

There's a view it takes 10,000 hours to succeed at something. That's an hour by hour success, not an overnight one. Online now, there are people more qualified than you, with more skills, and even more intelligent. But they'll fail because they give up at some stuck point.

The blocks, or sudden chasms, you come across online have to be got through or negotiated in some way. It's the mind which makes the difference. A determined one not willing to give up is more likely to get through to success.

This means continuous learning about internet marketing and your niche. If it was as easy as some business opportunities suggest, then everybody would be millionaires. Think about anything you've learned from scratch, and you'll have met problems you did not know existed and learned new things you never know you'd need to know.

Your online business is a reflection of your mindset. The odds are that you do as well as you think you will.

Do You Want To Begin Your Internet Business Now?

There are many types of internet business. Here are some fundamentals you need to think about before you rush to begin, if you want it to be successful.

First, be clear about what sort of business you're after. Will you be selling products, or services, or be a referral business between others? Choose something you have some knowledge of, or at least awareness of, and some experience in some way. If you decide on a subject you're not really interested in, then it just makes things more difficult, especially as time passes.

Second, once you've chosen a subject then learn about it. Find out as much as you can online and offline. There might even be an online course or other information online perfect for what you need. If you find out there's hardly anything online, then keep a record of everything you do, so when you've worked it all out you can sell that information online.

Third, set up a Wordpress website. You can do this with a couple of clicks through your web host, or learn how to set it up manually. It can simply be basic at the start until you learn more about developing it.

Fourth, decide what products, or whatever, you're going to sell. Create or buy your first one with resell rights, and create a sales page for it. Start getting traffic to it or have people sign up to your list first, then send them to the sales page. You'll need an autoresponder to communicate with your list.

Fifth, keep on learning how to improve your internet business.

Building Your List Relationship

It's easy to get into a state of anonymity on the internet. You're not meeting subscribers and customers face to face as in the offline world. It's easy to forget your list names are actual people with their own lives, hopes and aspirations.

This is even more so when you have a big list. So much emphasis is placed on having a big list as if it's the be all and end all of email marketing. However, people on your list buy from you because they feel a relationship with you. Each individual has to feel they can trust you to fulfil promises on your sales pages and in your products. If not, they will quickly ignore you or drop out altogether.

But how can you build a relationship with so  many people?

First, although not seen as effective at it used to be, use their first name in your emails, addressing them as an individual. But just their first and not their last name.

Second, the tone of the email should be when you're talking to one person, and not to your list in the mass. Don't use such terms as "Hi everybody". Use "you" in your emails. After all, you are only talking to one person at a time.

Third, be personal with them by asking what they want to know about or find out about. Ask them if they have a question for you. If they do ask a question, answer it yourself so it's a personal response. You can then give a whole list response if it will help everybody, such as: "I had a great question the other day about [whatever the topic was] and I thought my answer could help everybody. So, thanks for the question, and here is the question followed by my answer."

This shows you're responding to individuals. Even those people who asked nothing can see that, and it builds credibility to encourage them to buy your products.

Use Your Content To Send Traffic To Sign Up

When you get traffic from content, like this article, send them to a squeeze page to join your list. You can then offer your  products to your list. People from your content are more likely to respond because they already feel a connection with you, rather than coming from an anonymous ad or an affiliate you don't know.

Try these steps.

First, have a website on which you have a squeeze page ready for people you send, to sign up to your list.
A way of doing this is to have that page at the front to your site. That way people have to opt in to get access to your site. Rather than them vsisiting once and disappearing, you can keep in communication with them and offer them your products to help them.

Second, create content that is on the same or a related topic to the email sequence you'll send them, and to the product you will offer in that sequence.
Third, publish your content on high ranked sites.

This is not a fast method. Your content has to get indexed by the search engines.

It's Critical That Subscribers Open Your Emails Regularly

You have to keep your subscribers opening and reading your emails or else they will begin to ignore or forget you, and then eventually unsubscribe. You lose the opportunity of making offers to them, and your revenue falls.

You're doing two vital things at the same time: attracting more subscribers, and retaining those you have by getting them to open and read your emails.

How to keep subscribers reading.

Only make quality offers to them, whether your own products or affiliate products. It does not mean that because they've chosen to join your list that you can then bombard them with offers or present them with products not valuable to them. Without decent revenue you might not be covering the cost of getting subscribers in the first place.

Work with your list. Keep in touch with them. Ask them what they want and need to know about for them to succeed. Provide products that meet those wants and needs. Be helpful and responsive in relationship with them.

Provide freebies for them sometimes. Use them to develop your relationship with them further.

Look to get subscribers daily. People who click one of your links in a piece of your content are excellent to have on your list as they've evidenced that they do that, and will do so through to your sales pages.

What's Your One Key Area Of Knoweldge?

In other words, what are you an expert at? What niche could you be successful in where you know more than most people in it?

Generally, people would pick various areas of a niche as significant for success online. Some would swear by email marketing, some by sales funnels, some by targeted traffic methods, some by high ticket products, and so on. Of course, all of these can be important and needed in your business.

However, there's a tendency to forget that unless you have some knowledgeable ability in your niche or with a specific method, such as getting targeted traffic, it's difficult to get sales or make your business work effectively. Some people start with almost no knowledge or understanding of some aspect of internet marketing, and then develop to be the expert in it that others turn to for advice.

Online business success is based on your expertise, in whatever it is. So many people jump around looking for a quick answer to make lots of money. But it's consistency within your own area of knowledge that allows you to build a business. Focus on generating profits from your area of expertise.

Give Your Best Information In Your Freebies

By this I mean precisely that you give the information you state you will in your title. The person going through your content, like this article, is doing so because it's as if the title is promising to cover a certain topic and give helpful information about it.

If they've been searching online for some specific topic information and come across your content on it, they expect that you'll keep to the promise in your title.
So the information has to have value to it. If you're concerned that if you do this then people won't buy from you, you're with most other sellers in how to present free informtion.

But there need be no concern. Because if you give them valuable content, and especially if they've been searching for it, it demonstrates to them that you have some credibility and do provide some value. They'll be more likely to click through to opt in to your list, and then buy from you. Through what you've already shown them, they feel they can trust you to give solutions to problems and challenges. If your freebie is worthless to them it'll have the opposite effect.

They feel they want more information from you.

They might want more because you've addressed their specific problem in that topic area. You've shown you can provide solutions. If  they work with what you've given them they could overcome the problem. But you might not have given all the details of the solution. So they're prepared to pay for that.

They might want more from you on problems or topics which relate to the one in your content. So they want you to give them information on wider issues in their niche.

Easily Get Your Writing Right

A lot of people don't have much experience of writing at any length once they're out of school or college. so when you start creating written content it might be a bit stiff in its style and your process of writing at first. However, your writing will get easier the more you write.

You can check you finished work over yourself for corrections needed. You can also ask someone else to double check it. However, be wary of others relling you it's ok when in fact they have other thoughts about it but don't want to affect your confidence. You want the opposite, with others telling you clearly, even if you don't agree with them about what might need changing. You won't necessarily agree with what they suggest but it is better to have another person go over it so that you can become a better writer over time.

You can also read it out loud to yourself. Reading only in your head, it's easy to slip over any mistakes because you presume you know exactly what it reads like. Reading aloud makes you fix on each word more closely and so spot any mistakes.

Learn from other writers online too. Ask yourself about those you enjoy, what exactly they're doing that you're not or you could do as well. For example, are they writing at greater length or is their language clearer or do they cover ideas at a deeper or less deep level? If you're an expert in your subject you may communicate at a deeper level than most people so you'd need to make changes to communicate more clearly and fluently.

However, don't stop but keep creating written content. Keep publishing on the level you're at now so you can keep improving through actually writing and not just thinking about it. In other words, don't let it stop you growing your online business.

Niche Concentration Is A Must

Going into online business? Then choose your niche first, and concentrate on it.

Then decide what products to sell in that niche. Are you selling products for dogs? You'll sell stuff like equipment such as leads, baskets, toys, as well as types of food. You'll also include information products on things such as house training, puppy care, and so on. But if you're concentrating on topics like baking or craft work in which you have an expertise, then you'll sell various types of information products teaching your expertise.

In your niche, what products will buyers be looking for, and can you provide them?

I ask these two questions because they help you to concentrate as intensely as possible on your niche and only your niche. Starting out, it's very tempting sometimes to aim for a whole plethora of products, thinking you'll make more money. It won't happen because all the different kinds of products means your market isn't targeted enough - you're aiming at too many different types of people looking for too many different kinds of products.

So, when you list build, you might have a general list of, for instance, beginners in your niche subject. But you'll also want targeted lists for the different aspects of your topic. When you send an offer in an email to a targeted list about the topic they're interested in, more people buy your offer.

Your Choice Of Organisation For Your Business

You have already chosen the types of products, or specific products, to sell. What type of business organization is best for you?

Have you got a big group of items? If so, it's probably a good idea to display them on an ecart which will also give you a system for payment and other extras. If you use a Wordpress site you can use a  plugin to set one up. But you do have to have plenty of products.

If you've only a handful of them, you can concentrate on selling one of them first, and promote the others to buyers of that first product.

With only one product of your own, set up a simple site with one page to it, focused on that product in a sales letter. However, you can also have a squeeze page to collect emaill addresses and then promote the product through email marketing. If not, you'd send traffic directly to the sales page.

This one product business can be developed as long as you are able to sell the first product and generate profit from it. With a list, you create other products and develop a sales funnel to sell one product after another.

Remember, there's no hard and fast rule, as you can mix and match what works successfully for you and the types of products you have.
Just keep things as simple as you can, especially at the start. Begin with one product and develop speed, efficiency and effectiveness over time.

Stuck On What To Write Articles About?

Begin where you are. Look at the products you sell and what value you provide to subscribers, customers, and visitors.

Note down 20 subjects that your niche readers will find of value. Check out how Amazon or niche forums categorize information and products. It can be surprising how such sites group subjects you might think is unusual, so check out carefully through their lists.

Check right through the list if you can, looking for subjects that could be useful to your niche. The more niche related ideas you have, the simpler it is to create specific content. For example, there might be a place where "how to write" is categorized as such, but it might be in one or more other places. Of course, at Amazon you can also see inside some of the niche related books and check through their contents to some extent. On top of these ideas you can generate some ideas of your own from what you already have.

For instance, if you're writing on creating content, you can write on the various aspects of writing articles, such as creating "how to", "why", and "case study" articles. But then there's creating content in various formats, such as audio and video. Each of the formats also have different aspects to them. Plus, you can go deeper and deeper into each aspect. In fact, you could write several articles each day if you wanted to, based on the material you have from these simple steps.

The Effective Way Of Building Your List

What you've probably read about list building is that it's the way to make money, and when you have it you'll be able to generate revenue from it.

Unfortunately, that's not exactly correct. As with other online business actions, you need have a purpose for doing it. So, which people do you want on the list: people who buy from you or just those wanting free information? What products are they looking for?

You have to have the right list for the product your selling.

Let's say, for instance, you're selling weight training products and information. You might have a big ads campaign to people wanting to keep fit and healthy. You're giving lots of information for free. You might get a mass of people who consume your information but lack the money to buy training equipment or pay gym fees. Better to have an even tiny list, relatively speaking, of people who already buy your type of products and information.

Here's how to get it right in your niche.

1 What are you selling? Whatever it is, promote to that specific niche or sub-niche. For instance, promote information about getting more out of the equipment they already have. This will get the attention of those using equipment already. Such people would be highly unlikely to opt in for or buy information on the general topic of keeping healthy and fit. However, they could want information on sets of improved specific exercises using what they've got.

2 Any niche you promote in must have people who buy products. With our example, you want people interested in weight training who have the money to improve their knowledge. A freebie on weight training could easily get people who are only curious about the subject or are hoping to get free information not to have buy anything else. On the other hand, a freebie with exact instructions on using weights, with exact exercises, to keep fit and healthy, will get the attention of those wanting to do that, and so are more likely to buy your products.

Want To Write Your EbooK? Here's How

You first need to make sure you're clear what niche you're in. Then, within that niche, what subject the ebook will be about.

Once you have those two clearly sorted, make a list of up to 20 topics you want to write about to do with the overall subject. What can you help readers with best, and will show them yourself as an expert in the niche?

If this is a free ebook people will judge the potential value of your products based on it. Therefore, provide them with just as much knowledge overall as you would in a product you sell. Of course, your full product will probably be much longer and have more detail in it than the free ebook.

A common response is to worry about freely distributing such free information. If the ebook is a free one, make it a freebie for signing up to your list. Each of your opt ins should be worth a number of dollars to you, so this information is not wasted. Plus, if they can also give it away themselves with your links in, then you're getting free traffic from it.

Once you've decided on your 20 or less main topics, write a few hundred words about each of them. In each case, have an introduction to it, write about three or four sub-ideas realted to that main idea, then end with a conclusion reviewing those sub-ideas. When you've finished you'll have about 20 pages of clear and well organized information.

If you're going to let people who download it also be able to give it away, without changing it, put in links to a squeeze page of yours. Plus, you might want to include links to your own or affilite products you're recommending.

Read it through for spelling, punctuation and grammar. You could put a contents page: if so, also number the pages. Before the contents make it clear the reader can give it away as long as it's not changed. In addition, you might find that having produced, for example, 20 pages, that you could edit it into 2 separate ebooks of about ten pages each. Maybe one could be used as an unannounced bonus to the other free ebook. People prefer shorter free ebooks, as a quick read to easily get the gist of it. The important quality is the power of the information for the reader rather than being a lengthy read.

Convert it to a PDF document. You can do this easily in OpenOffice which is free, or in Word, or you can buy into a service like Adobe.

Now create a download page for it in whichever download system you're using, so when people sign up to your list they can click a link to download it, in your first email to them.

Your List Building With Your Content

Creating content is worth doing because there are various ways of using it. You publish on high ranked sites which give you backlinks to your website. That means search engines see it has having some popularity and so deserves to be ranked higher in search results than if you didn't have those links.

Content, then, generates free search engine traffic over time which, with your targeted content, is focused traffic.

Your content demonstrates your expertise as well. When people see that others have created a lot of content it seems as if those are incredible experts in their niche. That might be so or not but people are looking for credibility and see it shown in your content.

Because of these factors content, including articles like the one you're reading, engage prospects and build trust with them so they're encouraged to click your links and then subscribe to your list.

How to bring that about? Create content that concerns what the people in your niche are searching for. You neither want new people who know almost nothing or people looking for freebies and then never buying anything. You do want people who sign up to your list and go on to buy your products. So make your content on subjects that people might go on to pay for to get more information from you.

How To Generate Your Credibility In Email Marketing

Most people learning about internet marketing and online business want everything put into the form of steps, and it's likely everything that needs doing online can be done so in some way. With credibility too you have a series of links in people's responses that leads them to believe someone or something is credible.

This happens at an emotional level. Communicating there means that trust is developed in the believability of what you say.

Online, this has become much harder to do. There is much less trust than there used to be. On top of that, below the surface of their minds people switch off at signs reminding them of situations or people they don't like or have had bad experiences with. Your content is simply going into these areas, and you can't foretell them for each individual.

Consider your own response to sales letters. Do you sometimes feel uncomfortable with some of them? There's something about them that makes you want to stop reading and move on? Can you always give a reason for that? It's unlikely you can rationalize it. It just isn't for you and you click away.

What actions are needed by you to generate credibility in email marketing?

First, everyone is an individual, so you just can't communicate fully with them all every time. Aim your emails at a specific audience or a specific challenge in the niche. It doesn't matter if people unsubscribe, you only want customers. A person who unsubscribes probably would not have bought a product from you anyway.

Second, it's vital to keep the same tone of voice and attitude in all your communications. The way you communicate in your content, your website, in your emails, and any other material, must be consistent. People want to know you're the same person throughout, and they're not reading something from a different person. If you do outsource your content, have them create it all, right through your processes, including sales letters. Once people have made the initial emotional commitment to your credibility, they don't want to be dealing with someone else.

Work Your Articles With Building Your List

These can work powerfully together if you can get it right.

You develop relationships with your list.
They're not just a list of names but individual people.

When you create your articles, or other content, you're fixing a context, inside of which that relationship can begin and develop. This is done by letting people see what you think in the niche, how you go about things, and what your general style of working and communicating is.

If they come from an ad of some sort, they don't know anything about you. You're simply another marketer. Some people may get on your list, decide they don't like the way you work, and opt out. That's OK, but it's a waste of time for both of you.

Arriving from an article or similar content, the opposite is true. They actually opt in because they like the look of what they've seen and learned so far. The odds are in favor of them continuing to read and responding to your emails, developing a relationship.

Are You Using Content For Traffic?

Of course, getting traffic with content, including articles, is a useful way of working. But you don't want any old traffic. You want traffic that will join your list , and buy your products.

You want traffic visiting your website that really want to be there, and haven't been driven there by an ad.

It's better if they arrive having been through a piece of your content, and they want more from you. It's better to have one qualified visitor in this way than 100s or even 1000s for who you're just another anonymous marketer with a banner or similar that they've clicked.

First, create content such as articles that are about your site's topic or your product's topic. That means you're writing about your niche and things people in the niche want to know about. Plus, send them through your link to a page with information related to what the article was concerned with. If you're article is about growing potatoes and you send them to a page about making a garden fish pool, they won't stay and you may never see them again. You can have a related page for each article you create, then on that page have a link to your squeeze page or to a sales page.

Second, make it clear what the reader must do: to click the link to your site page.

Your Content Is Not All About Traffic

Creating content, including writing articles and website posts, is not all related to traffic. The basic premise is almost always: generate traffic from your content, then make offers to your visitors, and so on after that.

However, when you've written a lot of articles and posts, and/or created plenty of other content in other formats, that you've used,  you have it residing on your machine, just waiting.
Why not use that content to increase your income?

Try these.

First, put such content in your emails series both to build your expertise and to sell offers.

Second, put written material together as an ebook or report and give it away as a freebie.
Third, you can sell the personal use rights or Private Label Rights, or whatever rights you like, to articles and other material.

Fourth, point your list to relevant content for extra information.

Fifth, create a relevant add-on or bonus for your new product.

When you're creating content, including articles, keep thinking about how else they could be used.

Your Ebook Creation Done Fast

Are you thinking of writing an ebook or similar text, such as a report? But you're holding off because you think it'll take too long?

In fact, done right, and with the attitude to make sure you finish it, it can take you just a few days.

First, ask your list or website visitors what they're having problems with and what they want to find out about in your niche.
When you've got enough ideas and see one which stands out as being in most demand, use your text software to list the main ideas of the subject. Then, under each main idea list sub-ideas about the particular main idea. This is your plan and now you can start writing right into it.

Second, choose a main idea you're confident you know enough about, and write about each sub-idea in turn. In other words, chunk your whole task into bits. Do one sub-idea, then the next and so on until you've finished all you have to say about that main idea or chapter. Then move onto another mian idea in the same way.

Third, have an aim of when you'll finish the ebook, and so a goal of how many pages you'll have to write each day. Don't let it stretch out into weeks to complete. If it does, either change your daily schedule to ensure it all gets done, or miss out or shorten some of what you've planned. Having a goal means you're more than likely to finish it on time. You might have to push yourself at times if you're serious about meeting your deadline. On the other hand, yoi might find everything goes extremely fast.

Fourth, write its sales letter.

Fifth, check it over, putting in links where you want them, correct any basic mistakes, and maybe have footers to put your copyright and website address. Or whatever you want to do with how it looks.

Sixth, have the sales letter on your site, and the ebook in your download system.

All of this doesn't need to take you weeks on end.
Just get it done.

Internet Marketing Articles And Trust

Do you think you can create content, such as articles, and drive traffic to your squeeze page?

There is so much not to trust online now. In internet marketing there have always been get-rich-quick schemes, offers that are hyped up, and products that promise much but only give you a small bit of the online puzzle.

This is also the case with traffic generation. You can buy traffic, do joint ventures, buy solo ads, and so on. A lot are to do with sending cold traffic to a sales page and hoping for the best. Even when recommendation comes from a marketer prospects have some trust in already, it doesn't mean people will automatically buy from you.

The key difference with articles and content like them is that they're created by you, or at least by some second person guided by you. Readers are hearing your individual voice and attitude, not a generalized marketing style. It's more likely prospects will feel a link to you as an individual, and if they like what you're saying, feel some trust in you too.

Imagine clicking a link from any other type of traffic source, such as an ad of some kind, and you arrive at a squeeze page. You know nothing about this marketer and a squeeze page doesn't really give much about you. It is difficult to develop trust through a squeeze page, or a sales page for that matter. Even if you sign up to that marketer's list, they now have you as a subscriber who doesn't feel any trust toward them as you've had no chance to do that. Plus, you keep getting emails with offer after offer.

Now imagine you'd read an article by them first. You like how it sounds and what it says. You'd like more from this person. You click the article link, sign up to their list, and email series. They're all in the same voice, and have the same attitude.

When you get a subscriber from an article or piece of similar content, you're not getting a cold sign up. You're not starting from scratch with the first email. The development of a relationship of trust has already begun. You just have to keep that trust and develop the relationship over time.

Your Content In Search Marketing

Search marketing can take up a lot of time and effort on your part. But if you include relevant content marketing, it can make it much easier.

In fact, you could find you by-pass the search marketing bit as people find your content without them.

How to work them together.

First, decide the pages or posts on your site that you want to register better in the search engines.

Second, create content that is about subjects in your niche that people in your niche would like to have more information on.

Third, in the link at the end of the content use the same keyword as your page you want to improve in the search engines.

Fourth, publish the content on a high ranked websites. Use unique content for each website you publish on.

Fifth, publish as many pieces of content as you can so you have as great an effect as possible. Written content is the easiest and quickest to produce for this, unless you're already experienced with audio or video. In any case, these could all be used.

Test this out by choosing, or creating, one page to use to do this. Check where it ranks. Create and publish enough content. A few pieces here and there will not do. When that's done, or as you continue to create content, re-check the ranking.

An alternative is to create niche relevant and useful content. Publish as suggested. You will be naturally using niche keywords anyway so you need not focus on just one. This gives a more website general and long term effect.

How Difficult Actaully Is It To Make Your Own Product?

I'm sure you've come across plenty of ways to generate money on the internet. There are lots of so-called systematic methods too. Many of them are temporary, one-hit wonders.

The let-down with using those is that people pile in to join the bandwagon. The first and quick marketers will make it work for a while in profiting from them. But then everybody and his dog are using them, and the methods don't work any more. Some people are forever seeking that secret eldorado method.

Instead, you need to have an evergreen way of creating an income. One that doesn't disappear. Easily the best and most sure way of doing this is to have your own products that you have created. Nobody can really copy them as they're unique to you.

Therefore, make your own product.

Here's how.

First, decide what niche or sub-niche you'll be in. What are you knowledgeable about? What are you above average at doing?

Second, what format will you use? How is the information best presented? It is best for people to read it, hear it, or see it? In other words, will you create a text based product, an audio, or a video?

Third, list the main ideas you need to cover. Under each main idea, list three to five (or more) related ideas.

Fourth, start making it. Write the ebook or whatever text based product it is. Use the list as your plan (don't write out every word you'll say but keep it sounding more spontaneous) for your audio. The same for your video: decide what you'll show and say, when.

Fifth, complete the product.

Sixth, check it over for mistakes. Don't be heavy handed about this. For example, don't worry about um's and ah's in your audio or video. If the information is valuable to them, customers will not mind.

Seventh, make your offer in a sales letter on your site.

Eighth, get visitors to your offer.

Your Content Marketing As An Affiliate

You can generate money as an affiliate. The best thing about being an affiliate is you don't have to be involved with service to your customers. Neither do you need a sales letter. As long as you get paid in the way you expect, you're freed up to do marketing. Also, you can have a squeeze page and collect cusromers' emails so you can email market to them.

What's the relationship with content marketing? Of course, as hinted at, you need to have a list of your own to develop your affiliate business, instead of sending visitors dirctly to the product owner's site.

This works well with content marketing. This is because when somebody consumes your content and decides to click your link that takes them to your squeeze page, they do it because they've found the content useful, presented the way they like, and want more from you. This means that when you send them your email series they'll probably click links there too.

Make this process as effective as you can by creating your own email series. So, they're moving from content created by you, to a squeeze page by you, to emails by you - all in your style and voice. This all build trust and credibility, encouraging the development of long term customers.

5 Reasons Why You Should Write And Publish Articles

Saturday 17 October 2015

Is Your List Loyal To You?

Are you aiming to build a big list? That's ok but are they opening all of your emails day by day, and then clicking your links, and then purchasing your product?

Your subscribers have to have excellent reasons to want to read your emails. It is not to do with the subject line. Given time, you show them that you provide above average value, that your emails will not let them down.

First, make it a regular action to give them a freebie asking for nothing in return. They will want to see if the next email gives a similar freebie, and it encourages them to click your links. You're looking for long term sales and not just a few sales here and there.

Second, your content emails need to stand out in the information your give them. If they can get the same information somewhere else you'll lose some to that source. You want to build trust in yourself and your emails. Better not to send one if you haven't got good enough material.

Third, build the trust and understanding further by asking your subscribers what they are stuck on and what they need help with. You can then create products to help them.

In addition, give answers in follow up emails. It's free. You're not referring them to a product you want to sell with the answer in it. You're giving it away to them.

Also, other subscribers who did not respond, see your answers and it gives a sense of a live list, which is useful when you send an offer.

Fourth, if people email you personally, aim to answer them all yourself.

Fifth, give customers more than they expect. Provide bonuses to your products, including unannounced ones.
You can see the build up of support here for your subscribers, which encourages them to remain loyal to you and your business.

Ebook Creation The Simple And Easy Way

People take far too long (or give up) creating their ebook, or any kind of text product. An ebook is often the first thought of those thinking of their first product. Then a lot of people think it takes too long to be bothered with. But if you can use one hour each day and create four pages in that hour, you can see how quickly you can get it done without massive effort.

Here's the process you can use. Although this is about an ebook yo can use it for different content formats too.

First, make sure you're clear what your subject is.
Second, write down everything you know about it. Include things you don't know a lot about at the moment but needs to be in the ebook.

Third, pick out the most important ideas you've got, and make those your chapter topics. Under each of those, list three to five ideas that will be in that chapter. If you use a text tool to do this it's easy to move things around and you'll be able to use your ebook plan to start work on it.

Fourth, using the chapter topics you know about best or most, start writing those. It doesn't matter where you begin, a first, middle or last chapter. Any chapters, or ideas in a chapter, you need more information on, you can leave to later. Just keep writing what you can so you're not held up and may lose interest.

Fifth, in turn find out about the ideas you need more information on. Write them up in turn when you've got the required information.

Sixth, when you're finished, check for spellings, punctuation and grammar. Don't spend a lot of time on this. Just check it over once.

Seventh, create a PDF.

Eighth, create a sales page.
This is easy to do in a Wordpress site.

Ninth, publish the page on your site, with a link to buy it if you're selling it, or a download link if it's free.

Make Money From Your Product Launches

First, what are the needs, problems, questions in your niche that people want answers to? If you have a list, then ask them.

When you have responses on a subject you can make a product, then tell them you're doing so.
Second, make that product. Obviously, this takes intentional and consistent work but, I think, people's biggest difficulty is just being worried about whether they can actually do it. However, it's important to ensure it is as you claim it to be. Take a little extra time if need be to make sure it does that. It's worth it becasue if customers find it isn't what you said it is, they will be very wary of buying from you again. Yo want the opposite: they look forward to your next product and buy every product you make.

Third, before you launch it, tell subscribers to look out for an email about it.
Fourth, you might want to to get other marketers with similar lists, to join with you in promoting it.

Fifth, make sure every bit of your product is right, and also your system for selling and delivering it, such as your download process.

Sixth, write the best sales letter you can. It might be a great product but people have to be sold on it.

Seventh, tell your subscribers it's available, and give the link. Repeat a day later.

Eighth, start a new product straight away.

You Need A Plan To Succeed Online

Have you experienced this?

You decided to start an online business, so you check all the relevant sales page offers, buy some of them, but realize you don't know what to do with all that information you have.

The result is you get more information about how to use the information you already have, so you can build a coherent business.

Do the opposite. Don't go around buying everything. Create a plan you can follow, and develop it as you go.

Search online for the information about what you need to do to get going. From that, set out a plan to get your ideas working.

At this stage, this is where you have the advantage over all the others trying to start an online business. This is because when you now buy what you need you only purchase what you know goes with your plan to turn it into a reality. You don't need to buy stuff just based on what a sales page tells you, and hope for the best.

Make the plan so you can follow it stage by stage as you develop what you're doing. Begin with the niche you'll be in, the website you'll have, and where you'll get your traffic from. Ensure after that, you have ways to list build and for converting subscribers to customers. Then plan out your poducts.

Do You Really Want To Fail Online?

Your Successful Affiliate Email Marketing

If you have a list already, that's great. You might have heard you should expect each subscriber on your list to be worth $1 each month.

You're not getting that? Read on.

You've done as has been suggested. You've built a list. You've set up an email campaign using the affiliate emails provided for you. Unfortunately, it's not working.

The problem?

The voice.

That means your emails need to be in the same voice, your voice, as the sign up system you've set up. When you buy in a squeeze page written by someone else, the visitors you send there identify with, and are willing to sign up because of, that person's style or voice. That is different to the person who wrote the affiliate emails. The same thing is true even if you wrote your own squeeze page. Therefore, they don't recognize the emails as yours. There might be different organization, different vocabulary, different use of punctution.

Whatever it is, they feel you did not write the emails.

What you're reading at the moment, and if you read it all, might cause you to click a link at the end. You appreciate the style or voice for some reason, and want to read more from me. Not becasue it's a great stand out article. It's just an ordinary article. But something might fit with you.

If you then go to a squeeze page I've written you will more than likely opt in because you recognize the same voice as in the article. It's not coming from someone else.

It's the same thing with emails and sales pages. You send an affiliate program email you're given and people don't respond so well, if at all. You write the emails but send them to straight affiliate sales page and they can see the difference.

Create your own emails. Those that don't work so well that you see through your tracking can either be improved on or dropped altogether. Replace them or move them around. Learn from what's actually happening, and how you can make things better each time.

Email Marketing Campaigns

Email Marketing At The Center Of Internet Marketing

Once marketers could buy lists from list companies and email the people on them. Now that is against the law as spam. The result is you have to build your own list.

But what's the relationship with internet marketing?
You must communicate with the people on your list, on a regular basis. This is the main strategy for selling your products and making a profit. In other words, in having a business and not a hobby. It's much easier to sell to someone who knows and trusts you than someone who turns up to your website cold. When that happens they may not have come across you before, or if they've come from a piece of your content, they may not know anything else about you. In this sort of situation, people just don't buy.

Email marketing is at the center of your internet marketing endeavors because of being able to communicate with your subscribers, and make repeated offers of a product if they don't buy first time. With  cold visitors to your site, if they don't buy then and there, they'll leave and you probably won't see them again. Because of repeat offers through emails, sales and profits can be much higher.

It's easier to convert a subscriber on your list into a customer, than a one-time visitor to your site.

As an internet marketer, do the following.

First, send your traffic to your squeeze page, the only purpose of which is to convert visitors to subscribers. You do not sell anything on the squeeze page. You sell to your subscribers in your emails.

Second, develop successful email sequences that send them to successfully developed sales letters that convert your subscribers into customers. Many more than if you'd try to convert cold traffic.

Third, take care of your list. In effect, it is your business. They are the ones who will pay you money for your valuable products. Email marketing is the core of your business, the most important part of your business system and of your internet marketing.

Email Is A Necessity In Your Online Business

Do You Want to Start In Internet Marketing?

Anyone can  get started in internet marketing. They can do it with just a few dollars.

Actually, that's the problem. It's the reason most do not succeed online.

The little amount of money they put in to get started seems to suggest the returns won't be very high either. What they think, tends to come true.

Also, when they make some profits, it'll probably get spent on some entertainment. It's a reward for the time and effort they've put in.

However, a serious online business person will be pleased to start with so small an amount of money. Then when they make some profits, they'll plow them back into the business to make it grow.

It's traffic which can cost the most, either in money or time.

How can you begin to make a profit?

Test and track what you do, such as traffic generation, email effectiveness, and product sales. Without doing this you can't tell what is and is not working best for your business. Your income has to be bigger than the money you're paying out. Therefore, you want the most effective systems you can get to ensure that happens.

Cheap Internet Marketing

People Open Emails For Content

Have you seen those offers for a package of email subject lines that are said to be tested to get your emails opened?

Can this be true?

Maybe for a while when subscribers are new to your list. You can tease them with promises in your subject lines. But these types of email are largely used by business opportunity or get rich quick marketers. People get bored or fed up with them after a while, and stop opening emails or unsubscribe.

On the other hand, those who stay on your list and keep reading them aren't doing it for the subject lines but because of the content you keep sending them.
They'll open your emails because the last email, and those before that, were valuable to them. It might have extended their understanding or gave useful and doable information that helped them. So, if you check email open rates it will probably be the case that it is content already received which influences whether next emails are opened and read.

Just think about which emails you open consistently.

You see who has sent an email and you see the subject line. Which one influences you to click it open? Think about what you actually do, and not what you might have read marketers telling you about the importance of subject lines.

Do you always read those emails by the same marketers every time? I believe that will be the case. Isn't it your experience of their content that gets you to do so?

If you're not sure, try this. Make a note to yourself to read this again tomorrow just after you read any emails. Let me know what you think then.

Get List Building Today

Thursday 8 October 2015

Your List Profits Generation

List building in itself is not of much use. You need to aim at more than that. You're running a business, so you want to build a list that generates you profits. Of course, that takes more work than simply building the list.

Just about everybody who starts up online will be able to have their own list. You can keep on getting subscribers.

However, the money you make from it at first, if at all, will probably only be small.

Take these actions to increase your list profits, and keep doing them.

First, make sure you continuously deliver more in value to them. Give them the freebie immediately that they signed up to get. But that's only the beginning. Have your email series ready to deliver valuable information on a regular basis. Give them updates to your products, and free gifts, and any other useful information, in any form, you can provide. This way you develop loyal subscribers.

Second, develop rapport with them. Ask them what they need help with and where they're stuck. Get them to advise you what they want. Find out what information they're after. Then, give it to them as free information.

Third, your task is to enable your subscribers to be successful. The more they succeed, the more they'll be willing to purchase products from you to help them further.

They Don't Want You To Know This About List Building

Your Top Traffic Techniques

Everybody needs traffic. But people who get  lots of traffic don't always want it to be known how they do it. Obviously, if everybody knew, there'd be no more sense of authority about it, and they might have too many people doing the same thing.

However, why shouldn't everyone have more traffic through what they're creating and how they're working?

Here's a key way of doing it.

First, make a useful freebie you created yourself. Professional marketers even have their freebies stamped with their name, not somebody else's. Why not do the same?

Second, spread it around. Let people download it through as many places as possible. Then give more and more. You can also put it in different formats, such as an article, post, audio, video, free call, and so on.

Third, when people subscribe to your list, they've done so because they trust you at least to some extent. They want more from you. Therefore, provide more free information. You can link to your website pages and to other content in other places. That way, you get more traffic, and they get increasing value as their knowledge builds.

Squeeze Page Quality Traffic

Your Forum Traffic Source

To be successful online you must have traffic. A traffic source you can depend on that fits your business. Of course, you still have to track and test it so you drop what does not work and build up what does work.

This takes persistence in working at it as much as you can. In fact, you need to aim to get yourself above the average marketer in your niche. Remember that most people give up too early.

If you think forums might provide you with that, or one, traffic source, take these actions.

First, search for anywhere from 10 to 30 forums in your niche. You could start with 5 and build up over time as you continue your testing. If you sell exotic flowers information, search for "exotic flowers forums", or "flowers forums" that might have a section on exotic ones. Or search for  any related terms followed by "forums".

Second, become a member of the ones you find.

Third, develop a signature you can put after your posts when you're allowed to. It could be your website address or an email address. Do not try to sell anything in the signature.

Fourth, introduce who you are in the specific section for doing so. You only need some general information. Then sign out of the site.

Fifth, next day look through the forum for questions people are asking for answers to and problems they're stuck on and want solutions to. Answer three to ten of these, giving helpful information. Your answers need not be long. Then sign out.

Sixth, do this regularly, answering posts with helpful responses. Answer a number each day, perhaps increasing as you go on until you reach a time limit you set yourself for doing this work. Avoid spending hours a day on this. For example, be in for half an hour at the most and work effectively.

The main reason for doing this is not to advertise but to build relationships with people on the forum who need help, and who you can help with your information. Once they trust you over time, then they will buy from you as they click through to your website.

Article Writing Frightens You?

There are masses of people at any one time trying out internet marketing. Yet so few actually make a success of it. I mean that they persistently over time make their own products and develop a good income.

Being able to write is basic to all that. Look, you can generate ebooks, reports, manuals, courses, slides, as well as audio and video outlines. That's not to mention your business core email series, sales pages, and anything else you can think of.

Basic to all this, or the root of it from which the rest can grow and depend upon it, is article writing. Look on writing articles as a lead up to, or practial experience for, creating the rest. Of course, that's not all. You use them for content marketing  when you publish them.

Put a link at the bottom of your articles and you'll get backlinks to help you in the search engines, and you get traffic from people clicking those links.

You do not need to write massively long articles, although of course you can if you want to or it fits the place you're publishing to or it takes greater length to cover your article topic. Basically, readers want the skinny of the information so they can understand more and use what you've told them if they can. Simply have an introduction to the article topic, have three to ten ideas on your topic, which might be how to do something, and then put a summary conclusion. Leave a one line gap only, and put your link.

If you're thinking of starting to write articles for content, then don't expect your first attempts will be great. It'll probably be slow to begin with. But as you get experienced at it, you'll get faster and more accurately productive.

Do you want to actually create article content? Then begin writing and keep going, publishing everything you can.

How To Test The Effect Of Articles On Rankings

Use Your Expertise To Succeed Online

What's unique about you and your business that makes you different from others on the internet? You're expertise.

Are you subscribed to a lot of marketers' lists? But you only open some of them on a regular basis?

What's special about those you keep opening and reading? I believe it's because you find them trustworthy and that you see them as having expertise in your niche.

The others are left in the dust. Not only are you not opening them but most of their lists aren't either. The only way they keep it going is by having a churn of subscribes and unsubscribes as they sell quick-fix products. The ones you read are providing you with new information and perspectives on what you're aiming to do online.

If you're wanting to succeed then be expert in your niche. Learn all you can and keep learning.

To have expertise in your niche you need to spend time learning, taking action to do so in an intentional and planned way.
For example, buy your competitors' products. Imagine what you would know by the time you've gone through the top three products of the top competitors in your market. Think as an expert in your niche does, and take action as a person with that expertise.

Your Fear Of Product Creation

Excuse the question but are you afraid of creating a product? If so, you're not alone. Have you come across a product for $97 that has so little real information you've had more in a free product? That is frightening.

Of course, creating a product should be an easy task. No worries. Here are some suggestions about creating your product easily.

What is your niche? What are people desperately seeking for in that niche? What are they looking for that they cannot find or be satisfied with? What is something nobody has not yet created? Who are the people who will buy it from you?

Having decided on the information that's needed, decide how you'll format it. Is it best to communicate it in writing in an ebook, or for people to listen to as an audio, or do you need to demonstrate something to them on video?

After these decisions:

First, think about your specific subject and write down everything you know about it. Separate out the really main ideas and number them by importance or by time order.

Second, under each main idea write down 5 to 10 sub-ideas related to it. The main ideas are the sections of your information product, and the sub-ideas your sub-sections. You might have at leas 25 ideas in total. For an audio or video, each section could a be a separate audio or video recording.

Third, start to write you ebook or make your audio or video. This can be the hard part for a lot of people: actually doing it. But you haven't got to do it all in one go, unless you choose to do so. You could just work one hour or two hours a day on it.

Don't be worried about style as it's the information people want. You might choose to do what you know best first, then work your way through to what you're weakest on. You can then re-order them in the final product. One thing is not to read from a script for audio or video which makes it seem stilted. From your notes, talk as naturally as you can, and learn from each day's
recording as you go through.

Fourth, when finished, edit where necessary for sense. Proof read an ebook for grammar, spelling and punctuation. But don't go overboard. As long as it makes sense and you've go your information across, that's what matters.

Finally, have a sales page telling the benefits of your product, and start selling.

How To Make Your Affiliate Profits

If you're finding it difficult to create your own product, or you have done so but you're not making any money, try using affiliate products.

You can make money from products sold by other people.

Here's the key to being able to do it: build a list related to the affiliate product and immediately start developing a relationship with them. GIve them the best information you have concerning what the product does or is about, and also about the niche it's in. Once they trust you enough, only then send them to an affiliate site which is excellent at doing its job.

Forget about any others. Remember you want sales, not creating lots of visits to websites.

Therefore, make sure:

First ,the product itself stands out, together with great service for the customer.

Second, the sales letter for the product has to be exceptional at selling the product.

Third, the affiliate program does what it says it does, including paying you on time and the exact amount you expect.

Fourth, the affiliate product connects well enough with your own product, so you can sell that in relation to it when you're ready.
Knowing all this, do not try to sell to your subscribers yourself, but make a recommendation to them through your emails.

Is Money Making Fast On The Internet?

It can be. But working online is not really that type of business. When you start, usually from a low base, there is little consistency. The money you make can vary day to day, just like your traffic. The more steady sales you have then any small changes don't have such a big effect on your income. With a small list and daily variations in visitor numbers means it's difficult to generate enough money.

The message is clear. Aiming to be rich fast online is a big risk. You'd need to be able to go without a decent income for several months at least. On the other hand, mapping your time out more steadily to learn as you go, and actually take the right actions, over time you'll have a business.

There are lots of schemes, methods, and tools promising you can use them to have riches fast. How can they promise this? Because they've done it themselves, and all you have to do, they say, is do exactly the same, and you'll have the same success. The trouble is what happens is that so many people are doing the same thing, soon everybody knows about it, and the method loses its effect.

Each business is different and individual. If lots of people are doing exactly the same actions, with the same website and emails, the market becomes flooded and the attempt to build your own business on it has no power. Think about it the other way round. Imagine that you have run a successful online business for years, and you decide to sell up. Sell to one person and that one person could make a go of simply following your methods and systems and have their own success. But what if you sell to one hundred people, or one thousand? Any buyer has all that competition in exactly the same situation. Probably nobody would succeed, even though the original business was a good one.

The Slow Burn To Online Success

Sunday 20 September 2015

Are You Top Heavy With Information?

It's a maze, isn't it? There's so much information online now, you no sooner start to go through what looks interesting and relevant to you, when hours have passed. Guess what? You're no further forward with your business. You're still stuck in that maze, trying to find a way out to online business freedom.

You're bound to feel weighed down by it, and most people just keep adding to that weight on a daily basis. Are you getting emails day in and day out telling you about the latest greatest thing to have come out? You might actually know a lot from your searching through information online but still no action is taken.

Online business at its core is very simple, as it should be. Create a product, then sell it. Or sell somebody else's product.

It's literally a waste of time looking for the mythical magic button, method, scheme or whatever. You just get deeper and deeper into the maze until you don't know where you are. And you've got all this stuff you're carrying around in your head.

Start with selling. If you haven't got your own product yet, sell as an affiliate or buy a product you can sell as your own.

Here's a simple plan.

Put up a squeeze page with a form from your autoresponder service to collect people's emails. Keep building your list using this and other squeeze pages you create.

What can you inform them about and teach them about? Whatever it is, and however small your knowledge is, tell them about it so it's useful to them. Don't see them as people to keep sending offers to. Instead develop a useful relationship with them.

Help them with their problems in your niche. Plus, make offers of what you know are good products.

When you think you have a good relationship with your list, and feel you can continue to build it, then make your own product. You can then make that an offer to your list.

You'll see you do  not need a sales page of any kind at first because you are sending people to the product owner's sales page. You can focus on list building. To do that send the people who click your links to your squeeze page first, and then send them from there to the product sales page.

If you don't have the money to spend on buying traffic, or don't want to do that, do it through content marketing which is free of money costs. However, there is a time cost, plus it's slower and more sporadic than paying for traffic.

Long Term Business Means Having A List

Friday 18 September 2015

Why You Need An Email Series

In effect, your list is your business into the future. It's your key asset that could be said to be your business. Why? On the list are your buyers. That is, if you've built a trusting relationship with them and your products are credible. Trying to convert visitors cold to your website is not a good idea. It's much better if they know some of your contents and style of working already. The internet is getting faster and they may not stay to read your sales page, if they don't know you.

Marketers aiming to sell to individual visitors might have the greatest product in their niche. But it's difficult to create trust and credibility with one page to someone who has never come across you before. If the visitor does not buy first time, they probably won't return to your site. Meanwhile, you have your list that you can keep on communicating with and sending offers they're looking for. Even if your site disappears for some reason, you've still got the list.

Create an email sequence. Pretend you're writing to someone you know, a friend or relative. Make it clear at first what the list covers. If it's about tropical fish but only of certain types, then tell them. If you intend making some offers at times, tell them that too.

Then you could send a emails spread over a few days giving them useful information about your niche or specific subjects in it. Ask your subscribers what they'd like to know from you to succeed in the niche. Their replies can give you contents for 2 or 3 further emails, providing the specific information they're looking for.

In this way, when you have a good enough relationship with them, you begin making offers that will be helpful to them. But not making these offers every email. Mix them in with your emails with valuable information.

Expertise Is Essential For Your Long Term Business

It is essential that you have expertise in your niche. It's the foundation of your information business, whatever form that takes for you. You have to be enough of an expert so that prospects can accept that you have enough expert knowledge to help them aciheve their online goals. It's of no consequence how great a product or service you have. If prospects can't see you as an expert in the niche they won't become customers.

You must demonstrate your expertise through your content such as articles, posts in forums and your website. Answer people's questions, responding to them as fully as you can. If you get stuck, work out how to find the answer. Provide proper information that if they take action on coherently will give them some results they want.

How do you find the knowledge to be an expert?

1 Find every bit of information online about your speciality. There's probably lots of it and will give you the basics, or more. You'll have to keep making sense of it as you gather it.

2 Go to a good library and get 6 to 20 books about or related to your niche. Read the most informative ones (look at the contents page and index) first, then you scan the others.

3 If you've been organizing your information as you go along, you'll be able see anything that's still missing. Check on Amazon and other book sites, and buy any that look useful to you. Also, go to offline bookshops and do the same. There might even be a forum in your niche where there has been a discussion with recommendations of where to go for niche knowledge.

You want it to be clear to your prospects that you have expertise, or enough of it, that they need and want. So, get the knowledge you need and give it to them.

Personal Requirements To Build A List

KnowYour Mindset In Order To Succeed

Before you even begin your online business your mindset about it and towards it is the critical factor. No amount of tools and courses and advice can make you succeed. You need to have the feeling of wanting to succeed at your business and to have the skills to do so. The two things are often inter-linked. People can't get that needed sense that they can do it, because they haven't got the skills to do it. They feel they don't know enough. Or they learn lots, and keep on learning, because they haven't asked themselves if they really want an online business. In that case, all the skills and knowledge in the world won't be much use.

In terms of what I've said, what's missing is persistent action. No action results in no personal learning taking place as to it being your own business, and developing it in your own way. And you have to keep doing it on a day to day basis. Your knowledge cannot action itself. You need to do it. You need time created each day to work on your business.

To succeed online.

First, know that you want to do and what you want to achieve. Devise a goal as to what sort of business you want to create. You can always adjust as you go along, learning and experiencing more. Have a plan to get there. Again, adjustable.

Be ambitious, if you want to be, but also realistic. For example, when you've just started, you won't have a big list by next month, and maybe even by next year. However, once you have a reasonable list, you can become more ambitious, if you want to, because you know what to do and what works for you.

Second, think about if you wanted a specific job offline. Let's say you wanted to be an electrician. You're definite about your goal. So, you go to where you can learn about how to become one. You learn about and practice it.

There's lots of knowledge about being an electrician. Just like lots of other offline occupations. Go on a course and you're given it. But for online business, which hasn't been around anywhere near as long, there's not the same amount available. Plus plenty of it can be misleading. I mean, you'd realize pretty quickly if you weren't being taught about electrical work in the proper way. But with online business it can be hard to tell truth from hype.

Third, determination and persistence to get to where you want to be in your business are important. For instance, the trainee electrician has a test part way through the course, turns up all ready to give it their best shot, and fails. They have to decide: do they stop trying or get over that problem and carry on? So, with your online business, you don't just want to be hoping everything will work out ok. You need to plan for it and work on it. Of course, it could mean changes in your life in order to do that.

Fourth, you have to take intentional action. Some people learn more and more and never do anything with it. Some people are always looking at websites, blogs, emails, forums, and so it goes on. They might know a lot but never do anything with that knowledge. They always think they need more. But the key ingredient is to take action and learn from what does and doesn't work for you.

Why Creating Your Own Product Is Important

When you're dependent on other people providing what you need in your online business, you're in danger of losing control of it, including losing out on profits you could make. The money you make is much better all round coming from what you own rather than somebody else doing so. The ideal is to be the owner of all aspect of your business. That is much more difficult, for example, with having your own own host or autoresponder. But you can have your own products, methods of marketing, list, and website.

Without ownership, aren't you simply growing the other person's business for them? For instance, if you don't have a website but place all your content, and the focus of your business, on someone else's site, you're giving away a basic asset that is vital to you're having a long term business. Even if you sell products as an affiliate, you only get a certain percentage of the revenue. Plus if you don't send the prospect to your squeeze page first, you don't even get their email and you're not building your list.

If you don't make your own product, then buy one you can sell as your own, and begin selling it. Always promote your website as the primary source of information, services or whatever you're selling. In the same way, create your own system for promoting and selling, and most important, your own list.

Of course, you can still sell affiliate products. But do it as only a part of your system of selling, and only promote them to your list. Again, when you're starting you might use ideas from another marketer's system or course but with the intention of developing your own as your business grows.

Focus on, and use intentional actions, to build your own business as your primary goal.

Personal Reuirements To Build A List

Developing a big list where subscribers respond to your emails, advice and offers requires a lot of work, time and testing. There are not many with a quality list of over ten thousand subscribers. Do you want to do it? The odds are that you can, and as you're here, I presume a need to do so.

However, most people give up early. One month in and they have one hundred opt ins, plus only a few dollars to show for it. Would you stop then? On the other hand, would you be determined to increase those numbers the following month to three hundred? Then 700? And go on until you've reached your goal, maybe 10000?

Put in the work and time required and it's possible to get to a few thousand subscribers after several months. Then if you tested your email sequences, and mailing patterns, it's possible to be getting one dollar a month, every month, for each subscriber.

List building takes effort, intention and time. You can't do it on weekends and see how it goes. You need at least five thousand subscribers so that you're testing has clear and accurate results you can base your future work on. The real question is: do you want an online business or a pastime?

Using Your Squeeze Page For Building Your List

Write Your First Ebook Product

The first thing to do is to make a list of 20 subjects you have some knowledge or quality information about in your niche. These are your main areas or ideas. Under each main idea write 3 to 5 sub-ideas.

Now you have decide which main area or idea will the most appropriate one to write about. Consider this in terms of the needs and wants in your niche. But also choose where you have got most information and the best quality information. Also, choose an area you'll feel most comfortable to write about.

Having chosen one main area, under each of the sub-ideas you wrote earlier, now put 5-10 ideas you'll be able to cover for each sub-idea. This gives you up to 50 parts for your ebook.

Think about whether you can write a paragraph or short section about each sub-idea. You probably can if you have some knowledge of the subject as a whole. That will give you a lot of information to pass on to your reader.

However, don't just fill up space. You want to pass on useful information. Preferably, you want the reader to finish reading and then be able to take some action to further their goals. A short very informative and useful ebook is better than a long so-so useful ebook. For example, an original one page ebook could be sold for $97 or more. A rambling ebook just filling up space might only be worth giving away, and even then it may not be worth reading.

At this point, begin your writing of the ebook. Wherever you write your ebook, first put a list of all your main ideas and sub-ideas. Then you can write straight under them, giving you a sense of real progress.

Create content on the easiest ideas first. The ones where you feel most confident and have most ideas. If you finish those and move onto others realizing you could do with more information, then find that through research. When you've done all the sections or chapters, have a read through, thinking about the order you'vep ut them in. You might want to leave them as they are or change them around a bit.

Finish off by checking the spelling and grammar. Avoid trying to rewrite parts. Just correct any of these types of mistake.

You could then set up the contents page, including numbering the pages themselves so information can be easily found.

Here's An Easy Way To Write An Ebook

Here's An Easy Way To Write An Ebook

Ask people what was the first product they thought of creating and they'll probably say it was an ebook. Are you having the same thought? You know a lot, or have found out a lot, about your topic, yet you just can't get going with it. Plenty of people actually start writing and then stop dead having hardly done anything. Is that you? In this article I'll go through the way to get that ebook written. The only thing that might hold you up is how long a time you can spend on it.

First, your ebook must have a focus, so get the topic clear in your mind. If you haven't got a topic, think about what you know in your niche, or you could learn about, that most people in it don't know about. Make a list. Write down every possibility. Don't try to choose yet. When you have a list, choose the topics, or parts of topics, you know about more fully and in detail. Then, cut that list in half in the same way. Then, cut it in half again, choosing topics you'd like to spend time on writing about. Choose one. Don't falter but keep to your decision. If you have ideas for other topics you didn't choose this time, write an ebook on them next time.

Second, taking your chosen topic, write down what you know about it.

Third, organize those ideas by picking out the main ideas you can use. Then, under each main idea, put a list of 5 to 10 sub-ideas. This is your outline. You simply write the ebook from it.

Fourth, just simply start writing. You need not start at the beginning, looking ahead to all the rest you'll have to write. Instead, imagine each section or chapter as a separate piece of writing like an article. Write one section at a time, in any order. You can put them in order of your outline at the end. You could start with what you find easiest to write about, and the next easiest, and so, until you're finished. However you do it, just keep writing, and soon it will be all complete.

This is an easy way of working, as long as you actually do it. Allow a certain amount of time each day to get on with it. Three pages each day gives you 90 pages in a month. A year later you'd have written over 1000 pages. How many ebooks, that is products, would that make?

Create Your Valuable Online Products

I'm sure you've come across some online marketers with lots, even hundreds, of their own products. They make some money from each of them. Yet there are other marketers who struggle to make their first product.

Why is that?

Because these marketers with many products, created their first one, and realized they could do it, especially when people were willing to buy or download it. They could then  go on with some confidence to think up other ones, and so more and more. They can make products that fit people's needs and wants in their niche.

How do you begin?

What do you know a lot about? What are you especially good at? In your niche, what products do people need? What knowledge do you have now, perhaps through long experience, that you would have paid for earlier?

Make a list of the kinds of products you might make using your knowledge.

It's not difficult to create a PDF ebook or an audio or a video, once you decide what information you'll provide in the product to help people in your niche.

Make an outline list of all the main ideas you'll include. Decide on the reason you're creating it. If any of your ideas do not fit with that reason, then leave it out. In other words, you're giving the product a clear focus.

With the outline done, just start writing. Write what will be in the PDF or what you'll say on the audio or what you'll say in or over the video. It's very important to just start creating the content. You can alter and improve what you want once you've got it set out in front of you. Most people who have the intention to have a product, never even begin writing.

Your Information Products Can Make You Money

Create A Product From Information You Already Have

Not created your first information product yet? Then read on to find out how to generate ideas and actually make your first product.

First, make a decision as what topic the product will be about. Also, what will you tell them about the topic? You could choose a topic you know about in your niche or related to your site. Not in this situation? Then ask yourself what you have some good knowledge or experience about. Maybe you're better at something than most people you know or maybe it's been commented on how good you are at a topic.

Second, keep it simple. Avoid trying to be over-ambitious with lots of parts to it or hours of videos. Make it quite a small product. You might use it as a freebie or sell it as a cheap item. But it must be valuable to the people who take it. So it must be made up of solid usable information. This will let you see what you can do and begin to think of larger products. On top of that, if you plan it too big the odds are it'll never get finished. That means you're more likely to give up on the idea of creating any more.

Third, when you've chosen your topic, decide what form it'll take. What's the best way for your information to be presented? Most people opt for a PDF ebook. But it could be in the form of an audio, including on CD as a physical product. Or if you're demonstrating some actions to do, a video is best.

Fourth, now you know the form of the product, you need to create an outline of your information. So, list all the main ideas you want to cover about your topic. Under each main heading put a list of related ideas, so that you're getting into the detail of the topic in an organized way.

Fifth, using your outline for a PDF write a few paragraphs about each of the related ideas for each main idea. Put an introduction and an ending for each set of related ideas paragraphs and for the main idea parts. For an audio, you could note some particular phrases you want to use, but try to just talk from the outline so it all sounds as natural as possible. For a video, each stage in what actions you're showing has to be clear and fit with your outline, so you can, again, speak using the outline.

Sixth, all the above is the easy part. Planning can be excellent but it still has to actually be done. You might be frightened it will be no good and you'll feel you've wasted you time and effort. But very few people create their own product so you're well ahead of the game even if it's not as good as you wanted it. Also, you'll know how to do the next product even better.

What To Do For Your Internet Marketing Success

Plenty of people dream and even plan on making money on the internet. But most people don't make any money. Have you noticed how many internet marketing products there are and how they sell? The people who buy them repeatedly aren't making any money.

Well, how is it possible to generate money with internet marketing?

In one sense it's simple. Like anything else you want to achieve you need to be focused on it and to be persistent. You've probably achieved things that way in your life already.

But the problem with marketing on the web is that there is a constant churn of new products being promoted. They all promise to make you money if you just buy them.

Those who purchase one, just about begin to see how the product can help and what they have to do. Unfortunately, it doesn't generate any money after a week or two. So, they give up on it and go buy something else to help them.

What such people don't realize is that you have to be persistent. They need to be an expert in one topic or skill. It's the experts who are thriving.

So, choose an area, and learn how to be an expert in it. That will make you successful online.

Here's what to do.

First, choose what you're going to do and take action.

Second, track what you do and your results. Test it all. Don't leave things to chance. You need to know exactly what actions to repeat to get success.

Third, be the best you can be in your area of expertise. In reality, customers do not purchase products. They buy information. They're more likely to buy from an expert in that area than someone hyping their latest product.

Fourth, spread your information across the web so people can benefit from it. Create informative articles. Create an informative website. If your free information is credible, more people will want to see more, including the paid information.

Fifth, work on your business each day, creating content and building it up.

How To Test The Effect Of Articles On Rankings

Search engines play a key role for free traffic, and in generating clicks. Articles are important in getting good rankings in the search engines.

This is the idea.

Write a relevant article about your website niche. Put a link back to the site. Place the article on a high ranking site. People who visit and use the site see your article. Plus some sites use RSS feeds.

The effect is that your article is viewed by targeted readers as well as being sent wider through RSS. This enables the engines to give your website a higher ranking because of the link at the end of the article.

Now, you can complicate this by writing unique articles for lots of sites already recognized by the search engines. And connecting your content together. It's best if you test this for yourself. Try the following.

First, create several unique articles.

Second, put a link at the end of each one. Try using a keyword you have for your website or one that fits the article.

Third, find unique article titles by typing some into Google, in quotes. Keep changing one that is the least used until it comes up as not being used by someone else.

Fourth, put the articles onto separate high ranking sites such as free blogs, social sites, other blogs, and so on.

Fifth, wait a few days and search for articles in quotes in Google. Check them for about a month. Keep a record of the number of times each article is in the search results, anywhere from number 1 to 100. You should be pleasantly informed by the numbers. Why not drop me an email?

Do You Want Mad Traffic To Your Website?

That is, the sort of traffic that is in the mass. It's so much it's of no concern anymore where exactly the sources are. On top of that, 50% of them sign up to your list on a daily basis. A larger percentage then purchase your products. That traffic is mad.

How do you get it?

First, you'll have to dig in to to get it. Think in the mass. One article or a few will not do it. You need to be working at it daily.

Second, in  addition you contribute to niche forums every day. Respond to others' posts with useful information you have some knowledge of. Avoid trying to advertise your site in your posts. Lead them to click your link by providing regular quality information and help to members.

Third, if you're using paid traffic, set up to stretch yourself  on Pay Per Click (PPC). But keep a tight watch on your costs and return for the money you spend. Drop it if you're not getting enough profit. Try another campaign on PPC or leave it.

Fourth, give away a product which is easily one that could be sold. Make it a valuable product for your subscribers. Or give it away without having to subscribe, and tell them to give it away too. Ensure you have important links in it for your own sites and products.

Fifth, make a mad offer to joint venture partners. Make sure all customers get to your website. And then, that customers join your list.

Sixth, create as many links as you can from other sites, avoiding any easy backlink methods where you're paying for them. Aim to get genuine links that will prove their worth.

How To Get Your Articles Read Every Time

I'm sure you know the feeling. You've a great idea for a new article. You're sure it'll help your audience. You create it and place on a high ranked site. But, no matter how many times you look, there are only a handful of people who read it. On top of that, nobody's clicking the link.

This article is about ensuring your articles get read, and you have people clicking through from your link.

First, you must have an excellent title. It's by the title that searchers decide whether they'll read it or not. It needs to stir their interest as soon as they see it, and tells them what they'll find out by reading it. Think of articles you've decided to look at and read through. Did they have a clear message for you? Were the one's you didn't read too vague? Stand out from other articles on a site with titles so clear the reader can't resist having a look.

Second, once you have them starting to read, you need to have the first one or two sentences like another headline. You have to keep their attention at this point so they read on beyond them. If their interest suddenly falls at the beginning, you might lose them forever. They might decide not to read another article by you.

Third, when they do read on, you still have to keep them reading all through the article. Keep the information to the point but also valuable informtion they can use for themselves, preferably straight away when they've finished reading. However, don't try to tell them everything. You just can't do that in one article and it would become too heavy to read through.

Fourth, having kept their attention to the end, give them a call to action they can't resist. Give what they could read next on anther website or tell them what they can find out about on your website, or send them straight to your squeeze page, and put a link.

They Don't Want You To Know This About List Building

You've probably seen products and courses on list building. You also know that all the successful marketers have built a list, and how important it is. Those successful marketers maybe get hundreds of targeted leads a day into their list. Other marketers, trying as hard as they can, only get a handful a day. And make no money.

What's the difference between them?

First, the successful ones have squeeze pages set up so that when a visitor lands on their site at that page, they have to sign up as a subscriber in order to see the sinformation on the website. This is better than having a sign up form on every page. A squeeze page used the first way can get you sign ups of up to 80%. Of course, you have to have a solid squeeze page and a website with information people want. What number of subscribers would an 80% sign up give you?

Second, the successful list builders use their statistics. If you're only getting a few subscribers each day, it's more difficult, less efficient, than if you have hundreds a day. They take the actions to make sure that happens.

Third, to improve their statistics and their tracking, they make sure to test all their actions. So, they keep records of which traffic sources convert the highest into optins. They also know how much each subscriber has cost them from each traffic source. That way they make their subscription numbers get better and better.

Fourth, they realize their subscribers are, in effect, their business. These are the people who will buy from them, and they aim to have as many as possible buying products repeatedly. The successful list builders know how much each subscriber is worth, and know that of the average one. If each subscriber is, or should be, worth at least $1 a month, then it's well worth you paying $1 in order to get that subscriber. You should be paying less for each subscriber than the profit they generate for you.

Fifth, the successful list builders are selling a backend product on the thank you page. This may not be as strong as it was but if it works you're making profit, and helped them with a product they want, before they've even finished the subscription process.

Sixth, to be successful you have to be focused. So, focus on 1 or 2 traffic sources and be an expert in those, knowing and becoming adept at what converts them. For example, a specific squeeze page may be good for one traffic source but absolutely hopeless for another source. This is why testing, and improvement, is important. To achieve that, you have to concentrate your efforts and attention.
